Starsci are a relatively new band from Rhydaman, south west Wales and this is their first CD. Members are Gareth Jewell (main vocal); Phil Jewell(guitar, vocal); Darren Sedgwick (bâs); Gavin Lewis (guitar) and OwainEvans (drums). Gareth is a former member of MaxN. Since forming in 2006 the band have developed their own driving rock style. They have played at the National Eisteddfod, and at Parti Ponty, Pontypridd and the Carmarthen Bay Festival. As well as this CD and gigs they have appeared on Wedi Saith on S4C. There are twelve songs on this CD which include Merch Newydd, Nabod Ti and Dyfnach, and it looks a promising future for Starsci. The CD was produced in Fflach Studio by Wyn Jones and the band.
