This is the first CD of its kind for fflach:tradd, modern jazz group Burum from Cardiff. An exciting sound which unites jazz and traditional music. Burum are Tomos Williams, trumpet; Daniel Williams, tenor sax; Dave Jones, piano; Chris O'Connor, bass; Mark O'Connor, drums with Ceri Rhys Matthews on the bag-hornpipe. This is the first time that the bag-hornpipe has been played on a jazz CD and it is an interesting and effective addition on tracks 1, 4 and 6.
